“Black Panther” A $1 Billion Box Office Superhero!

Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name which will head into this weekend with a massive $578 million domestic and $1.12 billion worldwide sales. The North American theatrical distrabution receipts make it the second-highest grossing superhero film in domestic history, behind only 2012’s The Avengers. This weekends revenue should push director Ryan Coogler’s superhero picture past $600 million in US and the following weekend it will surpass The Avengers. Now five weekends at the #1 box office spot, Black Panther will set an all-time record for most weekend box top office hits for a superhero movie. Also, it is currently tied with The Dark Knight at four weekends and the film became Marvel Studio’s longest #1 title after its fourth weekend domestic box office topping. 
The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay for an amazing film that will delight the audience both youg and old.
