{"id":297,"date":"2010-10-10T19:39:53","date_gmt":"2010-10-10T19:39:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kevindkinsey.com\/?p=297"},"modified":"2011-05-14T07:37:05","modified_gmt":"2011-05-14T07:37:05","slug":"michael-jackson-neverland-creditors-claim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kevindkinsey.com\/?p=297","title":{"rendered":"Michael Jackson Neverland Creditor&#8217;s Claim Update Response"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TMZ has obtained a new creditor&#8217;s claim filed in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/person\/michael-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Michael Jackson<\/strong><\/a> estate case, in which a lending <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2010\/06\/23\/michael-jackson-estate-refinancing-neverland-creditors-claim-mortgage-refinancing\/#\" target=\"_blank\">company<\/a> is asking for $4,580,000 for services connected with the refinancing of <strong>Neverland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ll-media.tmz.com\/2010\/06\/23\/0623-neverland-getty-ex-01.jpg\" alt=\"0623_neverland_Getty_EX_01\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jon Divens, the lawyer for the creditor, tells TMZ &#8230; Michael refinanced Neverland in 2007 and got $45,000,000.\u00a0 The lending company &#8212; <strong>Genesis Group International<\/strong> &#8212; claimed Jackson agreed to pay the Group 10% of the loan amount plus fees, totaling $4,580,000.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2010\/06\/23\/michael-jackson-estate-refinancing-neverland-creditors-claim-mortgage-refinancing\/#\" target=\"_blank\">Genesis<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/mag-glass_10x10.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a> claims it made a demand for payment this year but never got paid.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an interesting history with the guy who owns Genesis &#8212; Kevin Kinsey.\u00a0 In 2008, there were reports that Kinsey had falsely represented himself as a representative of MJJ Productions in an effort to secure funding to get the re-fi.<\/p>\n<p>A source <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2010\/06\/23\/michael-jackson-estate-refinancing-neverland-creditors-claim-mortgage-refinancing\/#\" target=\"_blank\">connected<\/a> with the estate tells TMZ &#8230;
