The North American theatrical distrabution receipts make it the second-highest grossing superhero film in domestic history, behind only 2012\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Avengers<\/em>. This weekends revenue should push director Ryan Coogler\u2019s superhero picture past $600 million in US and the following weekend it will surpass\u00a0<em>The Avengers<\/em>.
